The Trust's 2011 priorities include: 1) Completie paying for the new Chatham Street entrance to the Weir River Woods and 2) Protect the 2-acre western edge of Straits Pond connected to the 6-acre Straits Pond "Island" to create the Straits Pond Preserve.  These priorities are part of the Trust's goal to ceate a continuous area of protected land along Hull's edge of the Estuary from Straits Pond to the Weir River Woods.
